The Presidency has mocked the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, over its newly released National Campaign Council list for the 2027 elections.
Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Policy Communications, Daniel Bwala, in a post on his verified X handle on Sunday said the NDC list, chaired by Seriake Dickson and Peter Obi as Co-Chairman is “full of content creators.”
He said Peter Obi and the NDC stylishly refused to name their campaign media surrogates in the mainstream media masquerading as On-Air Personalities, OAPs.
“Peter Obi and NDC have released their list of campaign council members; and as expected it is filled with content creators.
“They stylishly refused to name their campaign media surrogates in the mainstream media masquerading as OAP.”
Bwala’s comment comes hours after the NDC announced its National Campaign Council with Dickson as Chairman, Peter Obi as Co-Chairman and presidential candidate, Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe as Vice Chairman, Rabiu Kwankwaso as Co-Vice-Chairman and vice-presidential candidate.
Recall that the Presidency has repeatedly described Peter Obi as a “content creation candidate”, accusing him of replacing reputable politicians like Kenneth Okonkwo and Valentine Ozigbo with social media content creators after they left his camp.
