After an intense regional round, only 16 programs are moving onto super regionals in the 2026 NCAA softball tournament.

Super regionals will be the ultimate make-or-break situation for these college programs. This round’s matchups will take place over four days, from Thursday to Sunday. The eight winners will be one step closer to the 2026 Women’s College World Series.
The super regionals will be hosted by the top eight national seeds in the bracket, or the next highest-ranked teams remaining. Luckily for fans, many powerhouse programs still remain in the running, like Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas.
