Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the back-to-back reigning NBA MVP. In 2025, he led the Oklahoma City Thunder to their first-ever championship, being named Finals MVP in the process.

There is no doubting the superstar’s scoring prowess or how unstoppable his game is. Off the court, though, he has quite a few ‘haters’.
While Gilgeous-Alexander hasn’t done anything wrong, he is guilty of being a little corny at times. And that’s exactly what fans are calling him out for after his recent post.
To SGA’s credit, the superstar is often unfazed by any of the noise around him. He is absolutely locked in to the task at hand, and rarely pays any attention to his detractors.

This doesn’t stop them, though. And after he captioned his recent Instagram post with, “Idk why they call it the off season bc I still haven’t taken a season off,” they were out in full force on X.
