N.C. man allegedly recorded 200 videos with hidden camera he installed in Old Navy dressing room
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TCN) — A 25-year-old man allegedly installed hidden cameras in a dressing room at an Old Navy location to record more than 200 videos of nude or partially nude women, an investigation has revealed.
WSOC reportsDylan Keanu Hampton is alleged to have secretly peeped in various public dressing rooms. On Oct. 11, employees at an Old Navy in Charlotte, North Carolina, found a camera underneath a bench in one of the dressing rooms. According to surveillance footage obtained by investigators, Hampton allegedly spent about two hours in the store that day, most of it in the dressing room area.
Police said the camera was allegedly aimed into a door of an adjacent dressing room stall, WCNC reports. Police also alleged Hampton was accused of recording inside a fitting room using Meta glasses in July. He was arrested on Oct. 26 and posted bond the next day.
A search warrant was executed on Hampton’s devices and 200 videos showing nude or partially nude women were allegedly found, per WSOC.
He had allegedly installed three cameras — two in a bedroom and one in a bathroom — in addition to the alleged camera in the Old Navy dressing room. During the search of his devices, investigators also saw alleged evidence that Hampton had left reviews praising how discreet the cameras were.
WCNC reports a warrant was obtained for Hampton’s arrest and he was arrested again Nov. 4 and charged with eight counts of felony secret peeping.
