A missing mobile phone allegedly led a 28-year-old woman into a terrifying three-hour ordeal inside a Pattaya condominium early Saturday. Beam Mukassara told police a Chinese man dragged her and her sister inside and attacked them. Her sister escaped, but Beam claims she was held captive, forced to undress and faced an attempted sexual assault. She also reported seeing around 30 objects resembling male sexual organs. Two Thai acquaintances finally arrived, and Beam was released. Police later swooped on the Thappraya Road condo and found the Chinese man inside. Officers said he resisted, refused to cooperate and could produce no identification documents. He was taken to Pattaya City Police Station as investigators launched an inquiry into what happened.
A 28-year-old woman claims a Chinese man held her captive for over three hours inside a Pattaya condominium. She told police he beat her, forced her to undress and attempted to sexually assault her. Her sister managed to escape after both women were allegedly pulled into the room. However, Beam Mukassara said she remained trapped inside with the intoxicated man. Within hours, Pattaya police swooped on the Thappraya Road condominium and found the Chinese man still inside. Officers then brought him to Pattaya City Police Station for questioning. However, police said he resisted and refused to cooperate while being escorted from the room. Separately, officers discovered he could not produce identification documents for inspection.
The dramatic case began with a missing mobile phone. Beam, 28, filed her complaint at approximately 6 am on September 12. She reported the incident to Pol Lt Yutthana Phosidi, Deputy Investigator at Pattaya City Police Station. According to Beam, her mobile phone had disappeared before the incident. She suspected that a younger female acquaintance might have taken it.

Later, Beam received information about how she could recover the missing phone. She was told to visit a condominium on Thappraya Road in Pattaya. Therefore, she travelled there with her sister, who is a transgender woman. Yet the attempt to recover the phone allegedly turned into a violent three-hour ordeal.
Beam told police that a Chinese man opened the door when the pair arrived. She claims he immediately pulled both women inside the room. According to her complaint, the man then physically assaulted them. During the confrontation, her sister managed to break free and flee. Beam, however, was unable to follow her out.
Instead, she claims she remained trapped inside with the Chinese man. She told investigators that he prevented her from leaving for more than three hours. At some point, Beam claims the man forced her to remove her clothes. Furthermore, she accused him of attempting to sexually assault her.
Beam refused his advances, according to her police statement. In response, she claims the man physically attacked her and caused injuries. She also described him as intoxicated during the incident. The bulletin gave no further details about her injuries. Nevertheless, physical assault formed a central part of her complaint.
Police yet to search room after woman reports 30 sexual objects before Chinese man allows her to leave
Notably, Beam also gave police a bizarre account of objects inside the room. She claimed the Chinese man showed her approximately 30 items resembling male sexual organs. Police had not confirmed that account by Saturday morning. At that stage, officers had not searched the room.
Consequently, the existence and nature of the objects remained unverified. Police said they would proceed with any search according to legal procedures. As part of this, officers were continuing to gather evidence before deciding on further action.
Meanwhile, Beam claims she remained inside until two Thai acquaintances arrived. The pair were a man and woman known to her. Their arrival marked the end of the claimed three-hour confinement. Afterwards, the Chinese man allowed Beam to leave the room, according to her statement.
Beam then headed to Pattaya City Police Station and filed her report. In response, investigative and patrol officers immediately went to the Thappraya Road condominium. Police coordinated with building management before approaching the room identified by Beam. Officers then found the Chinese man inside.

Bringing him out proved more difficult. Police said he resisted officers as they attempted to escort him from the condominium. Moreover, he refused to cooperate during the operation. Despite that resistance, officers eventually brought him to Pattaya City Police Station for questioning.
At the station, investigators began questioning Beam, the Chinese man and other people connected with the case. In parallel, police started examining available evidence and checking Beam’s account. Officers were also attempting to reconstruct events leading to the confrontation.
The missing mobile phone formed the starting point of that sequence. Beam claims she suspected a younger female acquaintance of taking it. Subsequently, she was directed to the condominium if she wanted the phone returned. She then travelled there with her sister.
On arrival, Beam claims both women were dragged into the room and attacked. Crucially, her sister escaped during the initial confrontation. Her account could therefore help police establish what happened when the women first entered.
Beam claims the ordeal continued after her sister fled. She says the Chinese man kept her inside for more than three hours. During that period, she alleges he forced her to undress and attempted to sexually assault her. She also claims he repeatedly used physical violence after she refused him.

On another front, investigators can question the two Thai acquaintances who later arrived. According to Beam, their appearance preceded her release from the condominium. Their statements could establish what they encountered upon reaching the room.
At the same time, police were preparing to deal with evidence inside the condominium. Officers had not yet searched the room when the initial report emerged. Therefore, Beam’s account of the approximately 30 unusual objects remained unchecked.
Police were also examining another immediate problem involving the Chinese man. Upon being summoned, he was unable to produce identification documents for inspection. Accordingly, officers began checking his information and identity records.
The bulletin did not identify the Chinese man by name. Nor did it provide his age or other personal details. Additionally, police had not announced criminal charges during the initial investigation. The accusations remained under investigation while officers gathered evidence from all sides.
Beam’s account nevertheless gave police a detailed timeline to examine. First, her mobile phone disappeared and suspicion fell on a younger female acquaintance. Next, Beam was told to visit the Thappraya Road condominium to recover it. She then arrived with her sister.

By Saturday, police were working through the competing statements and available evidence. In addition, investigators were verifying the Chinese man’s identity after he failed to produce documents. Officers were also following legal procedures concerning any search of the room.
Ultimately, further action will depend on evidence gathered during the investigation. Police said they would establish the facts thoroughly before considering legal proceedings. For now, Beam’s complaint remains under active investigation at Pattaya City Police Station.
