A key Spartan for the upcoming season has been recognized for his work both on and off the field.
Michigan State senior captain linebacker Jordan Hall has been nominated to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. The Spartans announced the nomination for Hall on Monday.

The Allstate AFCA Good Works team recognizes student-athletes and head coaches from every level of college football who are making an impact through community service, academic achievement and leadership. Established in 1992 and presented by Allstate since 2008, the program honors players who use their platforms to strengthen communities and support causes important to them.
Hall is entering his fourth season with the Spartans, emerging as arguably their top defensive player last year. He was a captain last season and is expected to again be a captain for his senior year this upcoming season. During his Spartans career, Hall has appeared in all but one game and has recorded 179 tackles (seven sacks), one interception, one fumble recovery and four forced fumbles.
