Watch: Morgan Wallen Furiously Flips Over Piano Onstage After Technical Difficulty
Morgan Wallen thought you should know he’s upset.
The “Thought You Should Know” singer’s frustrations got the better of him during his Still The Problem tour as he flipped over a piano onstage following technical difficulties at his May 29 concert in Denver, Colorado.
In videos circulating on social media, Morgan concluded an acoustic performance of his song “Sand in my Boots” before pushing over and breaking a piano that seemingly malfunctioned during the concert.
After the top of the piano shattered against the hard stage floor, fans could be heard both gasping and cheering in Empower Field at Mile High stadium during the shocking moment.
As clips of the violent moment made the rounds on social media, online users chimed in about his bad boy behavior.
“Maturity at its best,” one user reacted in the comments section of a TikTok shared by Country Central, while another wrote, “What class!”
But it seems the internet is divided over whether the country music star overreacted to the technical difficulty. After all, one fan added, “Rockstars have been doing this for decades with their guitars.”
Meanwhile, another wrote, “Leave this man alone. Lmao.”
But this wouldn’t be the first time Morgan’s onstage actions caused a stir. Indeed, the 33-year-old ruffled feathers last year after he exited the Saturday Night Live stage prematurely while the end credits were still rolling following his musical guest appearance—a rare move in the show’s 51-season-long history.

Months later, the “Cowgirls” singer—who shares 5-year-old son Indigo Wilder with ex Katie Smith—broke his silence on the controversial moment.
Dispelling rumors that the SNL cast and crew made him “mad,” leading to his abrupt exit, Morgan made it clear that there was no bad blood.
“No, no, I was just ready to go home,” Morgan clarified on the May 2025 episode of Sundae Conversations with Caleb Pressley. “I’d been there all week.”
