Wild-card week continues Wednesday with another four-game slate, and the Atlanta Braves, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees and San Diego Padres can each clinch a trip to the Division Series after winning Game 1.
The wild-card round is a best-of-three format, with any deciding Game 3s set for Thursday before the American League Division Series and National League Division Series begin Saturday. The Tampa Bay Rays (the AL’s No. 1 seed) and Cleveland Guardians (No. 2), along with the Milwaukee Brewers (the NL’s No. 1 seed) and Los Angeles Dodgers (No. 2), earned first-round byes and are waiting to learn their opponents.
