Three Keys
1) Let’s try scoring a touchdown, maybe – Through the first four weeks of the season, the Saints have allowed the most points of any team in the NFL. Over the last three weeks, the Vikings have scored one touchdown on offense. With apologies to the late Gorilla Monsoon, it’s the resistable force against the movable object this afternoon in New Orleans. Hopefully, one way or another, the Vikings offense can find the end zone in this one because Will Reichard’s leg is going to get worn out at the rate things are going.

2) Make things difficult for Tyler Shough – Through the first four weeks of the season, no quarterback in the league has taken more hits than Shough has. Brian Flores’ defense has been notorious for making things difficult on young quarterbacks, and even though he’s in front of the home crowd in this one, I would expect this week to be no exception for the second-year signal caller. If the Vikings keep blitzing at the torrid pace they have been, they should be able to generate some turnovers and short fields today.
3) Keep winning on special teams – It can’t be overstated just how good the Vikings’ special teams have been this year. Johnny Hekker had a bit of a rough day punting last week, but young Brett Thorson is back in the fold after battling a hamstring injury the past couple of weeks. I don’t know if we can bet on a fourth consecutive Special Teams Player of the Week Award for our favorite squad or anything, but if the third phase can continue being a net positive, it will definitely work to their advantage.

There you have it, folks. Remember, we’re going with one discussion thread for all of our games this year, so you can hang out right here for all four quarters of this one. You can also use our sweet new app to keep things simple for yourself as well. If you don’t already have it, you can click on the link up above there to download it.
Enjoy the game, everyone! Here’s hoping in about three hours we can all celebrate the Vikings continuing to be undefeated and going into the early bye week as one of the league’s (at most) three remaining undefeated teams.
SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!
