The Milwaukee Bucks finally logged their first win of the 2026-27 NBA season, a 110-102 result over the Indiana Pacers on Monday, which was a welcome development, considering they held leads in the previous games but couldn’t close out.
Tyler Herro led the team with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists on 7-for-14 shooting from the field in 32 minutes. Ryan Rollins, Kyle Kuzma, and Kel’el Ware added 19, 17, and 16 points, respectively, giving Taylor Jenkins his first win as Milwaukee Bucks head coach.

Myles Turner played a pivotal role in securing the Bucks’ first win of the season. He anchored the defense in their fourth-quarter rally and ultimately finished with six points, nine rebounds, four assists, and four blocks on 2-for-7 shooting in 28 minutes.
“It’s just good to get the first one out of the way. We know we were inching closer and closer in the first few games of the season,” Turner said. “I just want to impact winning, and I think that’s been Taylor’s message to me since camp… I really rock with Taylor, with who he is as a person and what he stands for as a coach.”

Milwaukee Bucks rookie Nate Ament also played well against the Indiana Pacers, contributing seven points and three rebounds on 3-for-8 shooting in 14 minutes off the bench. During his postgame interview, the 19-year-old swingman explained how much this win means to head coach Taylor Jenkins.
“It felt good. We’re definitely working hard, especially with all the energy, care, and urgency coach Taylor brings to it. You can hear him screaming on the sidelines because he wanted this one so bad. He truly wants to win every game,” Ament said of Jenkins.
