The Milwaukee Brewers are headed to the postseason. Not that long ago, that sentence would have elicited champagne celebrations and parties all over the state of Wisconsin. Now, though, it is just another year. If everything holds as is, the Brewers will win the National League Central Division for the fourth year in a row and finish with the best record in baseball for the second consecutive season.
With 14 games left to play, Milwaukee is not complacent. Manager Pat Murphy stated after their 20-0 win on Friday night that they have more goals that they want to accomplish.

And while these are, undoubtedly, team goals, there are some individual achievements still within reach for multiple players.
There is little doubt that, offensively, Jackson Chourio is the best and brightest young star on Milwaukee’s roster. A former top prospect in baseball, the 22-year-old started his career with two consecutive seasons of at least 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases.
So far in 2026, he has 23 home runs (a career-high) and 17 stolen bases. Time is running out, but with 14 games left to play, a third consecutive 20/20 is within reach.

What makes this so incredible is that Chourio missed the first month of the season with a broken hand. Oh, and he’s hitting a career-best .294/.350/.498 too.
The question as to whether Jacob Misiorowski will win the National League Cy Young Award is all but answered. The clear favorite, he is 14-5 with a Major League-best 1.95 ERA, 236 strikeouts, and 0.80 WHIP.
If all holds, his .156 opponent batting average would be the lowest ever by a starting pitcher in MLB history.
What many want to see, though, is whether or not he will break the Brewers’ franchise record for strikeouts in a season. As noted above, he currently has 236, which is 28 shy of tying Ben Sheets’ mark of 264.

Depending on how Milwaukee uses him and how many games they allow him to start, it is certainly a mark he is capable of reaching. With 14 games remaining, one would assume he will make three or four more starts. Misiorowski would have to strike out around nine batters a game in order to break the record, but that is something he is certainly capable of doing.
After going through a prolonged slump at the plate, second baseman Brice Turang has caught fire at the plate. Over his last five games, he is hitting .533 with a home run and eight RBI.
It is the RBI total in these last five games that are intriguing. So far in 2026, Turang has drive in 90 runs. With 14 games left to play, he would have to continue his hot stretch and drive in at least one run in each of Milwaukee’s remaining games.

It may not be probable, but it is certainly possible.
He also tied his career-high with his 18th home run on the season on Friday night. Two more, of course, would give him 20, which would be a nice mark to reach.
