Watch: Mikayla Nogueira Defends Dating Weeks After Cody Hawken Breakup News
Mikayla Nogueira will be taking it easy for a while.
Indeed, the TikToker revealed she is on the mend after she was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery to remove her appendix after passing out in the middle of filming a makeup video.
“While I was filming, the room began to spin and I couldn’t breathe and fell on the floor and I just passed out,” Nogueira explained in a June 12 TikTok video. “When I woke up, I was able to grab my phone and I called 911 because I knew damn well I couldn’t drive myself anywhere.”
After being taken to the hospital in an ambulance, the 27-year-old said doctors did “an immediate CAT scan.”
“They found that my appendix was going to rupture,” she continued, “so they put me into immediate emergency surgery, and I no longer have an appendix.”
As a result of the surgery, Nogueira shared that she has three incisions on her stomach and she “can’t really walk.” Luckily, the influencer—who announced her divorce from Cody Hawken in February—said her new boyfriendZach is “taking care of me, which is really sweet of him.”
Before her unexpected hospitalization, the influencer shared she didn’t realize the situation would escalate to surgery.
“I flew home from Los Angeles on Thursday night,” Nogueira shared, “and while I was on the plane, I started having a lot of discomfort and pain. I got home around 2am and I thought I could just sleep it off.”

As she put it, “I tried to push through, figured it was just a stomach ache.”
But after her hospitalization, Nogueira is planning to rest and recover.
“Not how I want to spend my birthday,” she told her followers of the June 13 milestone. “It’s gonna be an interesting few days. I just wanted you to know what happened. I love you, and I will be here in my bed.”
