Ryan Reynolds has long been a fan of the Kerrisdale restaurant Minerva’s. Now, Michael Bublé is one too.

On the recommendation of Vancouver’s Reynolds, the Burnaby crooner recently tried out the family run Mediterranean restaurant located at 2411 W 41st Ave and open since 1975. And he gave it a resounding thumbs up.

“Late to the party, but I’m glad I finally made it; gotta thank my bro @vancityreynolds for the recommendation. Minerva’s is something special. Huge thanks to Nondas and crew for the incredible food and hospitality,” wrote Bublé in an Instagram post shared alongside pictures of him with Minerva’s owner Nonda Pavlakis.

In the post, Bublé responded to a follower who requested menu recommendations. “So far I’ve been once sooooo….the pizza, ribs, and the strawberry shortcake,” Bublé wrote.

Minerva’s responded to Bublé’s post by thanking the Grammy Award winner for coming to dine at the Vancouver restaurant.

“Thank you for coming to Minerva’s! It was a pleasure hosting you. Until next time!” the restaurant team commented via the Minerva’s Instagram account.

Reynolds officially shouted out the family restaurant in a video during press for his 2022 film The Adam Project where he declared: “My favourite restaurant in the world is Minerva’s.”

A couple of days after dining in Kerrisdale, Bublé was at the World Cup final MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to watch Spain defeat Argentina 1-0 in the final.

Bublé, married to Argentinian actress and model Luisana Lopilato, posted a photo of the two of them at the match on Instagram. “Of course, it’s never easy to lose. But we are so incredibly proud of this Argentinian team and everything they gave. We will forever be Team Argentina,” Bublé wrote on Instagram.
