The Green Bay Packers could soon have Micah Parsons back in their lineup. The star pass rusher has been working his way back from a knee injury and is closing in on his season debut, with a particular game emerging as a possible return date.
“Packers star Micah Parsons is expected to return to practice next week and make his 2026 debut in November, with the most likely return date coming Thanksgiving Eve against the Rams,” the Ringer’s Tom Pelissoro wrote in his post on X (formerly Twitter).

Even without Parsons, Green Bay has continued to pressure opposing quarterbacks this season. The Packers lead the NFL with 22 sacks, adding six more against Bryce Young during their 27-19 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night.
Parsons’ return would give Green Bay another major weapon on a defense that has already been thriving under new coordinator Jonathan Gannon. The Packers have been creating havoc for opposing offenses, leading the NFL with 22 sacks and 10 interceptions this season.

Before Parsons potentially returns against the Rams on Thanksgiving Eve, the 5-3 Packers still have two difficult matchups ahead. Green Bay first travels to Foxborough to face the New England Patriots before returning to Lambeau Field for a divisional showdown with the Minnesota Vikings, the NFL’s last unbeaten team.
