The Mets are making a move to bring in a fresh arm for Thursday’s series opener with the Phillies.
Cameron Weston has been recalled from Syracuse, while Xzavion Curry has been optioned back down.
Weston, a right-handed reliever, joined the Mets after being claimed off waivers from the Orioles this month.

The 26-year-old had a rough Triple-A season with the Norfolk Tides but has been pitching well since joining Syracuse, allowing just one hit while striking out eight over his three appearances.
He made his big-league debut earlier this season with Baltimore, throwing a scoreless frame.
If/when he gets into a game down the stretch, Weston will be the 40th pitcher the Mets have used this season.
Curry, of course, joined the club on Wednesday to start in place of the injured Robert Stock and he was knocked around for six runs on six hits and three homers over just three innings of work.
