MJ Melendez had a four-hit night with two home runs, a double, and five runs batted in, leading the way as Syracuse cruised to victory. With two games left in this series and one more six-game series to go in their regular season—a six-game series at home that starts on Tuesday—there’s still a chance that Syracuse could earn a postseason spot in the International League.

Eli Serrano III wasn’t far behind with two hits: a double and a home run. Unfortunately, R.J. Gordon got rocked, giving up six runs—all earned—that put the Rumble Ponies in a hole that they couldn’t climb out of.
