British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, posted his vote on X on Tuesday, ranking Portugal forward, Cristiano Ronaldo as the greatest Ballon d’Or winner of all time.
Morgan didn’t include Argentina legend, Lionel Messi in his top three greatest Ballon d’Or winners of all time.
The 61-year-old put former Brazilian striker, Ronaldo in second and late Dutch legend, Johan Cruyff in third place.
Messi, who won the Ballon d’Or eight times, was notably absent from Morgan’s selections.
This is coming after France Football, organisers of the Ballon d’Or, launched the “Ballon d’Or of All Time”, B.O.A.T., fan poll for historic winning seasons.
