Watch: John Goodman, 74, Looks Unrecognizable After 200-Pound Weight Loss in New Photo
You go Glen Coco, or, Daniel Franzese.
The Mean Girls alum, who portrayed Damian Leigh in the Lindsay Lohan-led 2004 film, recently revealed the progress of his weight loss journey in before-and-after shirtless photos.
“Three years. Down 135lbs,” Franzese wrote in a September post on Threads. “No booze, No sugar, workout 4 times a week (or more) now counting macros.”
The Looking alum’s glimpse into his weight loss journey comes shortly after he shared another insight into his health after nearly passing out at a comedy set in August.
“I’m totally fine,” Franzese assured in a statement to The Daily Mail Aug. 13. “Turns out doing stand-up on 30 minutes of sleep with no food or water is not the wellness journey I thought it was.”
Indeed, while he was on stage, the actor admitted that he “suddenly got lightheaded” and his vision “started flashing,” so he abruptly exited the stage without warning.
“Sometimes you get so busy working and taking care of everything and everybody that you forget your own body needs taking care of too,” he added. “Consider this my reminder to you kids—sleep, eat and hydrate or die-drate.”
And while Franzese is currently sharing a peek into his health journey, he previously divulged what he believes his Mean Girls counterpart has been up to since graduating from North Shore High School.
“I definitely think that Damian is doing something performance wise,” Franzese told E! News in 2024. “I just know he’s happy.”

But there are a few options for Damian’s future. Franzese pointed out at the time that his character is actually inspired by Tina Fey’s real-life bestie, journalist Damian Holbrook—so it wouldn’t be far-fetched to look to him for inspiration.
“He works for TV Guide,” Franzese revealed at the time, “And is a reporter and I was like, ‘That sounds so right.’”
For the 48-year-old, though, he also has hope that Damian still walks the halls of North Shore High á la his brief reunion with Lohan, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried for a Walmart commercial in 2023.
“I also liked what the Walmart commercials came up with—how I was like a drama teacher at North Shore,” he expressed. “I was into that, too.”
Luckily, fans don’t have to wonder how Franzese himself is doing. For more stars who have shared insight into their weight loss journeys, keep reading…
