Arrow McLaren is big-name hunting during the 2026 NTT IndyCar Series silly season. Nolan Siegel is likely going to leave the organization, as he has struggled to perform at a high level. So, who could McLaren push to pair with Pato O’Ward? An IndyCar legend has been linked to the organization.
It would seem that McLaren is the likely favorite if Scott Dixon opts to leave Chip Ganassi Racing, as reported by FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass. This would be a very major development, as Dixon has spent 23 years with Chip Ganassi Racing. The six-time IndyCar champion could replace Siegel.

Another scenario has McLaren landing Dixon and Felix Rosenqvist, which would push Christian Lundgaard out of the organization. Rosenqvist recently won the 2026 Indianapolis 500. McLaren will likely land a star to replace Siegel, and there would be no bigger available name than Dixon.
