Police in Maple Ridge are looking for information after a registered massage therapist was charged with sexually assaulting a teenager during a session.

Maple Ridge RCMP were contacted in February about the alleged incident at a local clinic in December 2025.

An investigation was launched and a male suspect was later arrested.

A 39-year-old man, Christian Aquilizan of Vancouver, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault. He is next due in court on July 8.

“While the investigation is ongoing, police believe that there may be other people within the community who have information that could advance the investigation who have not yet come forward,” said an RCMP spokesperson Wednesday.
