Watch: Mark Zuckerberg and Wife Priscilla Chan Make Surprise Debut at Met Gala 2026
Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan tagged their location as the 2026 Met Gala.
The Facebook founder and pediatrician officially made their Met debut at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art May 4, skipping the red carpet and making their way inside to view the “Costume Art” exhibit.
The longtime couple kept it chic for the “Fashion Is Art”-dress code, with Mark, 41, wearing a classic black tuxedo and black bowtie, while Priscilla, also 41, wore a red gown featuring long sleeves, turtleneck and a tiered, pleated skirt.
Mark and Priscilla—who wed in 2012 and are parents to daughters Maxima, 10, August, 8, and Aurelia, 3—could be seen chatting with fellow tech mogul, Instagram’s Adam Mosseri, as well as musician Jon Batiste while inside the Met.
And while this marked their first foray at the Met Gala, it was hardly their first time celebrating the world of fashion as Mark and Priscilla attended Milan Fashion Week in February, sitting front row for the Prada show.
The Meta founder marked the occasion—and Priscilla’s birthday—with a carousel on Instagram at the time, writing in the caption, “Thanks to Prada for having us in Milan!”
Priscilla also had her own fun, getting her husband to join her for a trend with a sound from the film Grown Ups that features Adam Sandler telling his friends, “We gotta go to Milan,” to which David Spade responds, “Milan, what? Italy? What’s in Milan.”
She captioned the video, “When in Milan.”

Throughout their almost 14-year marriage—and 23 years together—Mark and Priscilla have done their best to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. Still, they’ve never been afraid to share just how important their love for each other is.
“As I reflect on the 21 of Mark’s birthdays we have spent together,” Priscilla wrote on Instagram in 2024, “one of my favorite things about Mark is how he really, truly believes in people.”
She added, “He sees the potential in all of us. I have no idea what adventures are coming next, but I’m here for all of them. Here’s to many more.”
