    Luann de Lesseps Reveals Where She Stands With Bethenny Frankel

    It’s been way longer than a New York minute since Luann de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel were Big Apple BFFs.

    Over eight years after the former RHONY costars last shared the screen, Luann gave a rare update on where things stand between her and the Skinnygirl founder.

    “Bethenny and I will always share the history of Housewives,” The Golden Life star exclusively told hosts Eyal Booker and Lonnie Marts IIV on E!’s Hot Goss: The Golden Life Edition.”I don’t see her that often.”

    While the Countess didn’t specify whether the two remain on cool—or uncool—terms, Luann had an even more blunt response when Bethenny’s name popped up during the E! reality series’ Nov. 3 episode.

    As Luann quipped in a confessional when producers asked for an update on their friendship: “I’m good with that.”

    But just as friends come and go in life, so do tough times. Which is why Luann has no problem mentioning it all—including reflecting on lessons she’s learned from her 2017 arrest—on The Golden Life.

    “I’m honest about my life and I share my experience,” the 61-year-old—mom to daughter Victoria, 31, and son Noel, 27, with ex Alexandre de Lesseps—explained to E!. “I hope it inspires other people to live their truth. I just do what feels good to me and, at this point in my life, I’m too old to not live my reality.”

    Today, Luann’s reality is full of love thanks to boyfriend of three years Michael Riemerschmid. The two remain happily together, despite Sonja Morgan shading Michael on The Golden Life by claiming he’s still married to his ex. 

    The “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer is even taking that in stride, pointing to BFF Dorinda Medley’s words to live by.

    “He’s not married,” Luann clarified on Hot Goss. “What did Dorinda say? She lies about all kinds of s–t. She was lying about that too.”

    Plus, as the former Housewife elaborated, “When I met Michael, he was separated. So, he was not divorced. Since Sonja’s known him, he’s been divorced. He’s not a married man anymore.”

    As for why Luann thinks Sonja was bad-mouthing her man?

    “She likes to live in the past a little bit,” the cabaret star quipped. “She’s still in the ’90s.”

    As Luann famously sings, “C’est la vie.”
