It’s a new era for LSU football as polarizing head coach Lane Kiffin looks to make a big splash in his first year with the Tigers.
It was a tumultuous year for the Tigers as the team went 7-6 and endured the firing of Brian Kelly in late October before eventually hiring Kiffin for the upcoming season.

The Tigers begin the 2026 season at home on Saturday, Sept. 5 against Clemson at 7:30 p.m. ET. LSU beat Clemson 17-10 last year.
Head coach Lane Kiffin’s return to Vaught Hemingway Stadium is set for Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The teams will compete for the Magnolia Bowl trophy.
Dating back to 2020, no team has won the trophy back-to-back, with Ole Miss taking it home last year.

LSU faces Alabama on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers have lost their last three matchups against Alabama.

LSU’s away matchup with Arkansas to end the regular season is the team’s cheapest away game on Nov. 28, with prices starting at $81.
An official preseason ranking hasn’t been released yet, however, a recent ranking from ESPN listed LSU as the No. 10 ranked team in the country entering this season.
