When Lori Loughlin asks for a favor, her former Full House costars say, “You got it, dude!”

That’s why when the actress—who portrayed morning show host Rebecca “Aunt Becky” Donaldson on the sitcom—decided to make her social media return after a seven-year hiatus, she got some help from her onscreen family.

“Wake up, San Francisco!” Loughlin captioned an Aug. 31 Instagram Reel. “I’m back on IG.”

In the video, clips of John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, Andrea Barber and Dave Coulier were edited together where they held cups of coffee and recited Aunt Becky’s signature line, “Wake up San Francisco.”

Loughlin—dressed in a tan overcoat and blue jeans—then made her way into frame to deliver more lines from the iconic show.

“Hi, I’m Rebecca Donaldson and I’m welcoming myself back to the show,” she lip-synced. “Welcome back, Becky. Why thank you, Becky.”

And there can’t be an impromptu Full House reunion without the whole crew. Indeed, the video then included a throwback clip of her late costar Bob Saget delivering the line while in character as Danny Tanner.

“Wake up San Francisco, I’m Danny Tanner,” Saget said before Loughlin reappeared on screen alongside a round of applause, adding, “And I’m Rebecca Donaldson.”

Loughlin deleted her social media accounts in March 2019 following her and estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli’s involvement in the college admissions scandal in which their daughters Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella Rose, 27, were admitted to the University of Southern California as rowing team recruits despite the fact they were not rowers.

Nearly a decade later, the When Calls the Heart actress has slowly but surely crept back into the spotlight, making her first joint red carpet appearance in more than seven years alongside her daughters this past March.

But no matter what phase of life she’s in, her Full House costars will be there to hoist her up.

Indeed, Stamos—who played Loughlin’s onscreen love interest on the show—proved he had her back after it was announced earlier this year that Loughlin and Giannulli had separated after 27 years of marriage.

“It busted her up to the core,” Stamos told Josh Peck and Ben Soffer on the Oct. 20 episode of their Good Guys podcast. “And she put up with a lot over the years for this guy. I know a lot, and I was by her side through a lot of it.”

But even with her lifelong friends by her side, Loughlin knows there are some battles she must fight alone.

“I think you just have to pick yourself up,” she told First For Women in April 2025. “Nobody said life was going to be a breeze. There’s beauty in life, but there’s also hardship in life.”

“I try to be a forgiving person,” Loughlin added. “I’m not one to hold onto stuff. Stuff happens to everyone. We’ve all been in positions to ask for forgiveness but to ask for it, you have to learn and know how to give forgiveness, too.”
