Bronny James was captured on video playing soccer, and fans believe he has been pursuing a career in the wrong sport.
James has struggled to make a mark in the NBA after being drafted in the second round by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2024.

But after seeing his abilities on the soccer field, many fans think he should consider trying to play a different sport.

One fan shared footage of him and his friends playing soccer with Bronny James. The clip featured Bronny showing off his dribbling skills and using his speed in attack.
Many fans were impressed with the way Bronny played, noting how at ease and comfortable he looked on a soccer pitch.
One fan wrote, “This looks more natural to him. Poor guy got forced into basketball.”
Another fan joked about his prospects of making it to the USMNT, noting, “I’m already taking him over Christian Pulisic in the next World Cup.”

A third fan praised Bronny’s athletic prowess, claiming, “Basketball, golf and soccer. He is the greatest athlete in the family.”
“He’d be a hell of a center back,” wrote a fourth fan who sees Bronny as a defensive expert who can dominate opposition attackers.

And lastly, one final fan urged Bronny to leave basketball and pursue a career in soccer, saying, “Bronny switching from basketball to soccer like he’s got skills in every sport.”
Bronny James has always been a very natural athlete, so him being able to play well, albeit in an amateur environment, should come as no surprise.
However, anyone hoping that James will sincerely consider leaving a career in basketball to pursue professional soccer must realise that James has spent his entire life working towards becoming an NBA star, and isn’t going to leave the sport until he runs out of options.
