Watch: LISA’s Tented Dress With 3D Arms Proves She’s a Fashion Rockstar at Met Gala 2026
LISA has checked into the Met Gala.
The BLACKPINK musician (real name Lalisa Manobal) turned heads at the 2026 Met Gala in New York City on May 4.
For the annual fashion extravaganza—which had a “Fashion Is Art” dress code—the 29-year-old wore a Robert Wun creation featuring 3D arms holding up a see-through white veil as if LISA was inside a tent. (See all the stars attending the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual benefit here.)
The arms were molded from LISA’s own body and posed to form traditional Thai dance positions, per Vogue.
And this year’s event was a big one for LISA, as it marked her first time serving on the hosting committee, joining Zoë Kravitz, Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Misty Copeland, Lena Dunham and more.
While the 2026 soirée—co-chaired by, Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour—marked LISA’s hosting committee debut, it wasn’t her first time attending the Met Gala. After all, who could forget the White Lotus actress’ risqué pantless look that she wore last year?
Indeed, LISA showed up to her first-ever Met Gala wearing sheer black tights, black panties, black heels, and a knitted black jacket top. She accessorized her sexy ensemble with a black and white Louis Vuitton purse and an up-do.
But she wasn’t the first member of the K-pop girl group to attend the Met Gala. In fact, both Jennie and Rosé both attended the event in prior years—with Jennie making her debut in 2023 before returning the following year, and Rosé attending for the first time in 2021.

While we’ve just reached the first Monday in May, LISA’s already had a busy 2026, with her releasing “Bad Angel” with electronic music producer Anyma in April, and making a surprise appearance during the DJ’s 2026 Coachella set just days later.
It was a long coming for the K-pop entertainer, who teased a possible EDM collab while detailing her musical collaboration process.
“My collaborative process is very relationship focused,” she told AnOther magazine in September. “What we always have in common, as artists, is a deep love and respect for our own art as well as each other’s. We begin by working like friends rather than colleagues. From this, the collaboration follows.”
LISA isn’t the only star shutting down the Met Gala red carpet this year. Keep reading to see who else shined at the 2026 fashion event…
