This gave them an automatic first down, giving them the chance to drain the clock. Detroit almost gave Green Bay hope again later on, as Penei Sewell was called for a false start. But Jahmyr Gibbs picked up a crucial first down to set up the game-winning field goal.
The Packers have fallen to 4-3 on the season following this loss. Green Bay is now last place in the NFC North as a result. This loss also snapped an impressive three-game winning streak.
