Watch: Kim Kardashian Admits She “Wasn’t Ready to Open Up” Before Lewis Hamilton Romance
Kim Kardashian’s kids are always racing through Lewis Hamilton’s mind.
Indeed, the F1 driver revealed spending time with the SKIMS founder’s kids North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7—whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye “Ye” West—has become one of his greatest joys outside of racing. And to prove it, he shared he gifted them with one paw-some present.
“My girlfriend’s kids, I love spending time with them. She’s got four, so I’m getting to play with these kids” Lewis said at a racing event in Austin, Texas, Oct. 24, per footage shared to social media. “I got them a dog this year. Halo is a member of that family.”
Kim previously shared a glimpse at the pup this past summer as Lewis accompanied The Kardashians star’s family on a luxurious lakeside getaway. As the 46-year-old captioned a photo shared to Instagram July 30 cuddled up with the golden retriever, “lakemaxxing.”
Meanwhile, Lewis—whose beloved dog Roscoe died last year—has also showed off the family’s furry addition on social media. In a photo shared to his Instagram Sept. 22, Halo can be seen with both paws on top of a gate, presumably waiting for Lewis, 41, to keep up the belly scratches.
Though Kim and Lewis hard launched their romance back in June, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum recently shed light on life before the pair made it official.

“I was really single for five years,” Kim told The Times in an interview published Oct. 3. “That felt great. I could focus on my kids and projects that I really wanted to be involved with. I really felt no rush.”
Kim and Kanye finalized their divorce in 2022. And after the split, the reality star shared romance needed to take a backseat as she found herself again.
“I felt like I needed my time,” she explained. “I wanted to completely heal and just work on myself. I wasn’t ready to open up. I really wasn’t even thinking about it.”

But the heart wants what it wants—and at just the right time. As Kim put it, “The universe works in your favor when you just allow it to.”
And while the duo has offered some insight into their private romance—including glimpses into romantic getaways in Paris, bike rides in New York City and family tropical vacations—Kim has yet to speak publicly about their bond.
As she put it, “In the most respectful way, I’d probably rather not.”
