Watch: LeAnn Rimes Hints at “Heart-Wrenching” Issues at Home on Anniversary
LeAnn Rimes needs you to understand she’s trying to get better.
The country star canceled two concert dates of her 30 Years of Blue Tour in order to recover from what she described as a “severe illness.”
“I am unable to travel & perform this week,” she wrote on her Instagram Story April 29. “I’m so sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled. Also, good news as we will be seeing you very soon!”
While Rimes has already moved the Washington concerts to May 31 (Spokane) and June 2 (Seattle), she knows some fans will be disappointed by the change.
“I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule and I am so very grateful for your kindness, and continued support as I recover,” the 43-year-old added. “I look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon.”
Indeed, Rimes has been mostly stuck in bed while battling her sickness, sharing a photo of her under the covers while surrounded by three boxes of tissues on her Instagram Story April 28.
“I don’t know exactly what I have, but it’s BRUTAL!” she wrote. “Haven’t left the bed.”
And unfortunately, it’s not the only hardship she’s been dealing with lately.
The “I Need You” singer recently admitted that her 15th anniversary with husband Eddie Cibrian was marred by challenges at home.
“We got to step away for 3 days amidst work and some very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family,” she wrote on Instagram April 23. “It’s been a different anniversary, one filled with tears and worry, but in between, there were moments of laughter and deep gratitude for this love of ours.”

While Rimes didn’t disclose what difficulties the couple was navigating, the Grammy winner explained that they were leaning on each other as they continue to “walk hand in hand through the rollercoaster of life.”
“Im so grateful that it’s with each other,” she shared. “We know how to ride the waves, hold each other in times of need, mend what needs mending. I’m so proud of what we have created together. 15 years is just the beginning.”
