Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho has praised the bravery of his team following a 2-1 victory over Barcelona on Sunday.
Kylian Mbappe scored twice either side of a Raphinha goal, to ensure that Madrid closed the gap between them and the LaLiga champions to three points.
After the match, Mourinho hailed his players for how they dealt with Barca’s press and stayed calm.
Mourinho also admitted that Madrid played a dangerous game by not getting the second goal to go two up.
He said: “My boys were amazing tonight. They were very brave, especially in build-up, against a team that presses very strongly and very high.
“And even when they equalized, we did not panic or lose focus.”
Madrid’s next league fixture will see them travel to Racing Santander, as they seek to apply more pressure on Barcelona at the top of the table.
Mourinho’s men are then away to AEK Athens in the Champions League.
