The Los Angeles Lakers are trying to keep their winning streak going against the Portland Trail Blazers, and they will have a relatively clean bill of health.

The Lakers have the same injury report as their last game against the Utah Jazz. Cameron Carr and Adou Thiero are both out, as they have been all season.
Carr is nursing a right oblique strain that has bothered him throughout training camp and preseason. Meanwhile, Thiero has a left knee issue, which stemmed from preseason action.

Both injuries have kept them from making their season debut, and that delay will last until after the Blazers game.
In his last update before the Jazz game, Redick described the pair of injured players as “day-to-day.”
The Lakers fell behind by 18 points after the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Utah Jazz, but thanks to Luka Doncic scoring 52 points and Austin Reaves adding 29, Los Angeles worked its way back in the second quarter.

LA pulled away in the end, and while the win was great, Redick was more impressed with how the team handled their slow start.

“I think I talked about this last year, but particularly with a new group of guys, and this feels like a newer team because of all the new faces, you need to build reference points,” Redick said after the game.
“And whether we had responded to the adversity of that first quarter, not being ready to play and not doing any of the stuff we talked about pregame, it still would be a reference point. Because we ended up coming back and winning, now it becomes a positive reference point. It’s a reference point for resiliency.”
Now, the Lakers know that they can pull off a comeback, and even if things start out tricky, they can bounce back.
