Kraft might be lost in the sauce.
The instant mac and cheese company was certainly thinking outside the box when they came up with one of their new limited-edition meals: Cinnamon Roll Kraft Mac & Cheese.
“Yep, you read that right,” the brand teased on Instagram Nov. 2 alongside images of their festive new flavors’ packaging. “Chili Crisp and Cinnamon Roll Kraft Mac & Cheese are available now for a limited time.”
And while fans were cheesing over the announcement of another spicy flavor to follow their cult-classic jalapeño release in 2024, there were quite a few questions about the other product’s unexpectedly sweet noodle profile.
As one user put it, “Okay but why are you like this?” while another referred to the end of daylight saving’s time when joking, “It was a time change, not April fools day!”
In fact, the experimental seasoning had the internet likening Kraft to mad scientists. To express their bewilderment, one X account replied to the news with a Jurassic Park meme in which Jeff Goldblum muses, “Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.”
“Yall are out of your minds,” one person commented, as another quipped, “I’m calling the police.”
Still, some die-hard mac and cheese lovers were excited to roll with the dair-ing new addition.

“Everyone thought the apple pie one a year or two ago was weird, but it honestly was pretty good,” one snack enthusiast replied on Instagram. “I’ll give cinnamon roll a shot!”
Another user admitted, “I… I need to try this. For science.”
And as adventurous eaters know, noodle dishes that cater to the sweet tooth have been around for some time.

“Kraft cinnamon roll mac and cheese is going to be good and I’m not apologizing for that,” an X post riffed. “Sweet plus cheese is not some new crime. Cheesecake exists, noodle kugel exists, half of you put syrup on a sausage biscuit.”
