After a thrilling Game 4 where New York erased a 29-point deficit — the largest in NBA Finals history — to win on O.G. Anunoby‘s last second tip-in, the Knicks are one win away from their first championship in 53 years. The Knicks pulled off the impossible in Game 4 behind Anunoby’s 33 and Jalen Brunson‘s 36, and with one more win will deliver a title to a city starved for a championship.
But, the series is far from over, with the home team Spurs fully having the capacity to win three games in a row. This will be the toughest test yet for Mitch Johnson’s young team; it’s up to Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper and co. to get their first finals win at home and send the series back to New York.
So, what will happen on Saturday night: will the Knicks win the 2025-26 NBA title or will the Spurs live to see another day?
Follow along right here for the latest updates and highlights from Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
