San Antonio Spurs supporters are likely to dominate the crowd at Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
On Saturday, June 13, the New York Knicks could potentially win the championship if they secure a victory in Game 5 as they are currently leading the series 3-1. However, fans may not get to witness the pivotal game live in the stadium.

“Orders by residents outside of a 150-mile radius of Frost Bank Center will be canceled without notice and refunds given,” Ticketmaster concluded.
This means that any New York fans planning to travel to San Antonio to witness the game — which could result in the Knicks being named the NBA champions if they win — could be left desperately searching for somewhere else to watch.

The Knicks are up 3-1 in the NBA Finals, which crowns a champion based on whoever wins the most games out of seven.
After Game 4, in which the Knicks came back from a 29-point deficit in the second half of the game, several fans of the team were likely hoping to see the Knicks win the championship in-person with Game 5.

According to the NY Post, which cited data from popular resale service TickPick, about 45% of tickets for Game 5 were purchased by New York and New Jersey fans hoping to see players such as Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby and others take the championship trophy.

Meanwhile, only 12% of tickets to Game 5 were originally purchased by customers in the Texas area as of Thursday, the outlet reported.
One Knicks fan, identified as Queens native Joe P., told NY Post that he purchased Game 5 tickets after a pal convinced him and he realized that tickets were cheaper than the ones at Madison Square Garden.
“I wasn’t gonna do it, but he said, ‘You’re not gonna experience this ever again in your life,’” Joe said. “And he’s probably right. So we decided to screw it, and we bought our tickets yesterday. When we saw how expensive it was to fly to San Antonio, we opted to fly to Austin because it was about half the cost. So then we just decided we were gonna rent a car and drive.”
Taylor Swift, Mariska Hargitay, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner were among the stars who attended Game 4 on June 11. Brunson closed the game with a three-point shot which missed the hoop, but was put back by Anunoby, who won the Knicks the game.
