Florida State is making a major push to land 2027 four-star defensive lineman Sam LeJeune. They hosted him for an official visit last weekend, and things went extremely well in their favor when it comes to landing him.
LeJeune mentioned after his trip to Tallahassee that he would be committing at some point over the next few weeks. Well, the wait is over for the exact date. Per his Instagram account, LeJeune will be announcing his decision on June 24 from his high school gym in Poplarville, Mississippi.

FSU has been a major player for LeJeune for quite some time, and they’ve also received multiple predictions to land the 6-foot-3, 280-pounder. The Seminoles have gained six commitments over the last couple of weeks, but adding LeJeune would place him at the top of the class.
The Seminoles are seen as the leader for LeJeune despite the California Bears making a strong push as well. It’s certainly a recruitment that they need to close, seeing as they got his final official visit, and they nailed it. Tripping up at the finish line is not an option here.
LeJeune is the nation’s No. 119 player nationally and the No. 11 defensive lineman per the 247Sports composite rankings. He’s also the No. 5 prospect in the state of Mississippi.
