Katie Holmes & Her Mom Make Rare Joint Appearance at ABT Gala

And Katie’s evening with her mom in the Big Apple comes after the First Daughter star also turned heads during a recent night out in New York City.

Indeed, Katie made waves when she reunited with her Dawson’s Creek costar Joshua Jackson at a screening of the Brunello: The Gracious Visionary documentary April 14.

Yet, what came after the reunion between the former couple—they dated during the first season of their teen drama before their characters became endgame—was what really had fans of the hit teen drama series buzzing.

The pair raised eyebrows after Katie liked social media comments about the duo’s relationship status. 

After she shared a promotional photo for her and Joshua’s upcoming romantic comedy Happy Hours, which showed Katie with her arms around her costar, in April, one fan wrote in the comments, “Wish this was a hard launch,” while another noted the pair “should be a couple.” Both comments earned a heart from Katie.

Although the Broadway star didn’t directly address the sweet comments from fans, she did tease what it was like about getting to work with Joshua again on the project.

“So many beautiful people worked on this project,” she wrote in an April 16 Instagram post. “And working with Josh again was a dream.”
