After breaking into the mainstream with his 2023 release, Making Memories, he followed up with a cross-country tour that saw him playing arenas across Canada, as well as making inroads into U.S. with appearances on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. He dropped his latest album, P-Pop Culture, last August to positive reception worldwide.

The album had the highest debut for a Punjabi-language release in Canadian music history, logging in 12.4 million streams and counting.

Clearly, this artist’s blending of traditional Punjabi beats, hip-hop production and rap-sung lyrical flow was exactly what fans were looking for in the South Asian pop genre. Interest in the album hasn’t faded over time either. The P-Pop Culture title track video has more than 18 million views — and that is only after four months.
