A federal judge in New York, Jesse Furman, has ruled against President Donald Trump and the Justice Department over the firing of Maurene Comey.
DAILY POST reports that Maurene Comey, daughter of former Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI Director, James Comey, was fired from the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
The judge said the Justice Department had no legal basis to sack Maurene Comey and ordered that her dismissal be reversed.
Maurene Comey is a top prosecutor in the Southern District of New York, SDNY, office that is handling many high-profile cases against Trump allies.
