Watch: Big Sean Slams Speculation He Has New Girlfriend Amid Jhené Aiko Breakup Rumors
Fans have stayed ready to learn more about Jhené Aiko’s love life.
Reports circulated back in November that Aiko and Big Sean had parted ways after 10 years together, with Aiko maintaining a low profile in the time since. However, she may have just confirmed that she’s moved on with rapper Larry June (real name Leonard Hendricks).
Not only did Aiko feature in June’s new song “California Dream,” but she also appeared in the track’s music video, which sees them looking especially cozy.
And while it’s not unusual for artists to hire actors or other artists to feature their love interests in a music video, the release comes after eagle-eyed fans have noticed similarities in the pair’s Instagram Stories, wondering if they’ve been soft launching a romance.
Following the video’s release, some users viewed the move as a hard launch, with one fan writing on X, “Jhene is never scared to pop out with something new & I love that about her.”
As another noted, “Larry June and Jhené Aiko look so good together! Love this era for them!”
Meanwhile, others that hadn’t caught onto the palpable romantic vibes tried to catch up.
“larry june & jhene aiko really an item?” one wrote on X. “what happened w big sean? i really don’t pay attention to things outside of the music.”

After all, Big Sean (real name Sean Anderson) and Aiko were together for about a decade—during which time they welcomed son Noah Hasani in 2022—before seemingly quietly parting ways in 2025.
Neither Aiko nor Sean, however, have confirmed their breakup. In fact, when one user asked if he’d “broke up with the queen” for a woman he’d been pictured with, the musician said, “No.”
“It’s pretty funny how the internet can give life to things with no confirmation,” he wrote on X Nov. 7. “I’m sending love to everyone tho.”

In fact, Sean shot down the same rumor twice, after a clip of the woman standing near him at an event went viral.
“Yeah unfortunately I never met this person in my life lol,” he wrote in the comment section of a post showing the two together. “This girl was standing next to @hitboy who is cut out the video. I dont know why the f–k she was so close to me though. I didnt see it at all til i saw this video and can understand the frustrations.”
He added alongside a laughing crying emoji, “Smh. But i dont even know this person at all.”
