Watch: Jessie James Decker Defends Her Kids’ Abs After Online Criticism
Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker are growing young with their kids.
In fact, the “Grow Young With You” singer and the former NFL star left fans awestruck when they shared a recent photo with kids Vivianne, 12, Eric Jr., 11, Forrest, 8, and Denver, 2, that showed a majority of their family baring six-pack abs during a trip to the beach.
“Can I join the family,” makeup influencer Jaclyn Hill quipped in the comments section of an Oct. 18 Instagram post, which showed the couple and their children decked out in swimswear, “just to get some of your genetics please?”
Meanwhile, YouTuber Janelle Paige McCarthy jokingly called them “‘The Six-Pack Crew.'”
Indeed, the Deckers all have developed muscles from their sporty lifestyle as a family. As Jessie previously put it, her kids’ abs come from DNA and physical activity—something that she encourages her children to pursue.
“It’s a sad world we live in today when having healthy fit kids who are super active, play sports, build muscle naturally is ‘weird,'” the 38-year-old wrote on Instagram in 2022 after “being accused of photoshopping abs on my kids.”
“We preach about body positivity and acceptance but my kids having a mass amount of genetic and built muscle from athletics is ‘weird’?” she continued. “I want to raise my kids to feel proud of their bodies and hard work from either Vivis elite competitive gymnastics to Eric Jr wanting to be like dad as an NFL receiver.”

Urging critics to “not pick and choose what we normalize regarding bodies and be accepting of all people and children,” the “Wanted” artist added, “I’m proud of my children and encourage them to live their dreams. So we’ll see y’all at the 2032 Olympics.”
Since then, Jessie and Eric, 39, have continued to tune out the haters.
“I know what a great mom I am, and I know my truth,” she told Fox News in 2022. “So, it doesn’t bother me.”
