Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle made his team debut in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, Sept. 14, but he managed just a single catch for two yards on three targets.
Why it Matters: Fantasy managers expected Waddle to come in and do big things with quarterback Bo Nix, working opposite Courtland Sutton in what looked like a high-octane offense on paper. The two receivers combined for just three catches and 13 yards on eight targets. Ouch. The Broncos face another tough matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2, albeit at home. Waddle should still be trusted as a WR3 or flex fantasy option despite the egg-laying.
