Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden was reportedly arrested in Houston, Texas, on Saturday for carrying an unlawful weapon, per TMZ and the California Post.
Officially, per the Harris County District Clerk’s Office, Harden was charged with “UNL CARRYING WEAPON – GUN IN MV.” This means that he was unlawfully carrying an unlawful weapon in a motor vehicle.
The Cleveland guard was held on a $100 bond, which was posted on Saturday. The charge itself is a misdemeanor, and based on the summary of the case, relates to the handgun not being properly holstered.
