That has made this a crucial offseason to try and build on their successes around Liam Coen and Trevor Lawrence. This week’s 2026 NFL Draft will be the next chance to do that.
There will really just be one thing holding the Jaguars back in the draft — they don’t have a first-round pick. It went to the Browns in the Travis Hunter trade.
But once the Jaguars get rolling, they’ll be aiming to add more talent to their strong roster.
With the first round on Thursday, second and third rounds on Friday and fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday, we’ll be keeping track here of everything the Jaguars do during the draft.

EDGE: This is going to be a defense-heavy draft for the Jaguars. To improve their chances of beating the AFC’s best quarterbacks, they’ll have to find ways to get more pressure.
-
Linebacker: The Jags will eventually need a replacement for Devin Lloyd as an off-ball linebacker. That’s a guy they could get with their bevy of mid-round picks.
-
Interior defensive line: The Jaguars need an improved run defense, particularly to hold off the Colts and Jonathan Taylor.
Here’s how the Jaguars’ draft could work out, based on the seven-round mock draft from SN’s Vinnie Iyer.
