Jackson Koivun will make his Presidents Cup debut at Medinah this week.
Koivun won in what was only his third start as a professional in July, and as a result, he earned a captain’s pick for the United States Presidents Cup team.

The 21-year-old Auburn graduate has really impressed with the way he has performed under pressure during his maiden season on the PGA Tour.
Now Jackson Koivun will be under serious scrutiny this week at the Presidents Cup.
Some US golf fans believed J.J. Spaun should be on the team, while Ryan Gerard was also very unlucky to miss out.
Koivun has oozed composure at the Presidents Cup this week according to Justin Thomas, but the proof will be in the pudding regarding his ability to handle the intense pressure.
Koivun spoke with reporters at Medinah on Wednesday ahead of the start of the Presidents Cup this week.

The young American was asked to share his thoughts on the golf course at Medinah.
“I love Medinah,“ Koivun admitted.
“I think the golf course is awesome. It’s a nice championship setup. You’ve got to really hit some good shots, and I think that suits our team well.
“Iron play is going to be crucial out here, especially with how big and sloped the greens are. You get the putter rolling, you can make a lot of putts with how good they are. They’ve got a lot of slope. Positioning yourself is going to be really important this week.“
One thing the American players have that the internationals do not is unbelievable amounts of confidence due to their domination of the competition since its inception in 1994.

Jackson Koivun embodies that confidence with the 21-year-old’s incredible self-belief defying his tender years.
Now it’s crunch time, though, and we will soon find out whether the one-time PGA Tour winner is truly ready to represent his country at this level.
