For their efforts, the Hawkeyes were rewarded by the voters in the Associated Press poll. Iowa moved up three positions to No. 18 this week.
Iowa sits ahead of fellow Big Ten Conference teams Michigan and Oregon in the rankings, as the Wolverines returned to the Top 25 and the Ducks fell 15 spots after their loss to Oklahoma State.
Hank Brown has taken over as the starting quarterback, completing 33 of 50 for 320 yards and a touchdown, adding a rushing score. Kamari Moulton leads with 240 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns.
Tony Diaz has caught 15 passes for 179 yards and a score, with DJ Vonnahme adding six receptions and Reece Vander Zee five.

Despite the big move up, the Hawkeyes are well behind No. 17 Utah in terms of points for the poll. The Utes received 558 to 391 for Iowa.

In the AFCA Coaches Poll, the Hawkeyes also earned a bump. Iowa was bumped up one spot from 21st to 20th. Unlike the AP rankings, the Hawkeyes sit directly behind Oregon and Michigan.
The Hawkeyes will remain at home once again this week for a third straight game. Iowa will also play another in-state foe, as Northern Iowa visits Kinnick Stadium.

The schedule, though, picks up following the game vs. the Panthers. First, Iowa travels to Ann Arbor to play Michigan.
From there, they return home to host Ohio State to begin October.
