Watch: Jamie Foxx’s Girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp Pregnant, Expecting Their First Baby Together
To hear Jamie Foxx tell it, he’s already found his dreamgirls.
“You know how you take a picture on your cell phone and you hit that first filter and it brightens up?” he explained to Zuri Hall on Live From E!: Golden Globes in January 2025. “That’s how life looks now. Everything is altered.”
It wasn’t just that the Oscar winner, 58, had survived the life-threatening brain bleed and stroke that nearly felled him in 2023, it was also how daughters Corinne, 32 (with ex Connie Klein) and Anelise, 17, (with ex Kristin Grannis) had been by his side for each excruciating step.
“We cliche so much, ‘Live life like it’s your last,'” Foxx continued. “But when it actually happens to you, you appreciate it more. I appreciate these moments more.” As he’d detailed in his December 2024 comedy special Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was, his daughters “kept me alive,” he added. “And I’m just blessed, man, ’cause it was over.”
But also life is just getting started in a lot of ways now that Foxx is expecting a baby with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, her first child.
While Foxx’s life is often filtered into his work, Huckstepp has operated largely out of the spotlight. But she’s been a large part of his world since at least 2023.

Who Is Alyce Huckstepp?
So, what had happened was the onetime fitness instructor and Foxx were intially spotted in August 2023 dining with a group at Nobu in Malibu, Calif., essentially soft-launching their romance.
Though Huckstepp doesn’t appear to have a public social media page and remains largely out of the spotlight, she was also in the crowd at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre when Foxx filmed his Netflix comedy special What Had Happened Was in October 2024. And she could be seen in an Instagram video Gayle King posted from backstage.
Among the topics Foxx tackled in the special—in addition to his health scare—was his past relationships, which included a romance with longtime pal Katie Holmes.
“Sisters, I’m here to tell you, I’ve been cured,” he joked while performing a number on the piano. “I’ve been cured of everything, no more white girls. I’m serious, no more white girls.”
When Did Jamie Foxx and Alyce Huckstepp Begin Dating?
Unclear if Foxx met her at a beauty salon with a baby Louis Vuitton under her arm, but Huckstepp was on hand for the August 2022 premiere of his Netflix film Day Shift in Los Angeles. (Though she attended with a female friend and didn’t pose with the actor.)
According to People, Huckstepp was also on set when Foxx filmed a BetMGM commercial in July 2023—several months after he suffered the brain bleed that turned into a terrifying life-or-death situation.
And Huckstepp was among the few that were allowed into his inner circle during that period, per Us Weekly. “I went through something that I thought I would never ever go through,” Foxx explained in a July 2023 Instagram video. “I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that.”
Did Jamie Foxx and Alyce Huckstepp Break Up?
Briefly, anyway. According to multiple outlets, the couple ended their romance in January 2025 after several years together.
But four months later, the pair were back at Nobu in Malibu. And that October, they spent time at Miami’s waterfront eatery Kiki on the River.

When Was Alyce Huckstepp’s Pregnancy Confirmed?
E! News confirmed May 12 that Foxx was adding another baby to his den. While plenty of milestones await for the actor, simply hearing his girls call him “Dad” already ranks high on his list of top moments.
Among the highlights of his parenting journey, he detailed on Ellen DeGeneres‘ Dad Confessions web series in 2021, “Watching them light up when you come into a room. Helping them work out a problem that you’ve probably gone through.”
And while he’ll be bringing plenty of experience with him as he navigates another newborn phase, he’s not the first to clock in with more than a few hours on the job. Check out other dads who welcomed kids later in life.
