Indiana men’s basketball (0-0, 0-0 Big Ten) is set to welcome Eastern Illinois (0-0, 0-0 Ohio Valley) this evening for the 2026-27 season opener at Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
It’s the official debut of the Hoosiers’ new-look roster in the second season of the Darian DeVries era in Bloomington. Indiana reloaded through the transfer portal this past offseason and looks to rely on offensive rebounding to win games rather than hot 3-point shooting.

The Panthers haven’t finished a season with a winning record since 2019-20. They debut all the way down at No. 360 in KenPem’s efficiency metrics.
