Recruiting the state is always a huge priority for Indiana football, but the class of 2027 is proving even more pivotal than usual given the prospects at the top, including one who’s seen his recruitment skyrocket in recent weeks.
Errol Kearns III is a safety out of Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis who’s currently committed to Miami (OH). He received an official offer from Indiana just last week during a conversation with safeties coach Ola Adams. Now he’s set for an official visit with the program in June, per his social media.

Kerns’ other recent offers include Wisconsin, Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern and Kentucky, among others. He received an official offer from Ohio State not long after announcing his visit to Indiana and is set to visit Michigan as well in June.
Indiana is looking to keep as many talented players in the state as it can and Kerns is rising up that list.
