Now that he’s about to enter the penultimate season of his terms, United have begun contemplating whether they could prise the 26-year-old from the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming months.
Tchouameni’s record in all competitions for Madrid
United expert Andy Mitten actually revealed that, based on his understanding of the situation, a deal for Tchouameni would be ‘possible’ this year.

It’s thought a deal could cost around £70m. Considering United have reportedly been quoted as much as £125m for Elliot Anderson, meeting Madrid’s demands for Tchouameni seems a no-brainer.
Reacting to the speculation on his Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, the former Red said: “Tchouameni would be great, but is he available? I don’t know if he’s available. His experience is huge.
“I think he speaks English as well, so that’s not an issue. I think he’s a fantastic footballer.
“I remember the game France-England in a tournament, I think it was Qatar (2022 World Cup). He was majestic. He was strong. He was commanding. He’s played in huge games. He has the experience. So I wouldn’t worry about him, but I’d be very happy to get him.”
