Minnesota enters the matchup with a perfect 4-0 record, establishing itself as one of the NFC’s early contenders. The Vikings have relied heavily on their defense to remain unbeaten, with defensive coordinator Brian Flores leading a unit that has consistently disrupted opposing offenses. However, questions remain surrounding the passing attack, particularly with star wide receiver Justin Jefferson dealing with an ankle injury. Quarterback Kyler Murray will look to build on his recent performance against the Miami Dolphins and help Minnesota enter its bye week with an unblemished record.

New Orleans, meanwhile, has struggled through the first month of the season, entering Sunday’s contest at 1-3 following a 45-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Quarterback Tyler Shough has been productive despite the team’s disappointing results, throwing for 1,203 yards and nine touchdowns through four games. The Saints will need another strong performance from their young quarterback, along with contributions from Chris Olave and Alvin Kamara, to challenge a Minnesota defense that has been among the league’s most difficult to score against.
